Grand Designs: The Street – Thermohouse Episode
Grand Designs: The Street, is a new 6 part series presented by Kevin McCloud. The series follows 6 respective Self-Builders on a unique development in Bicester called ‘Gravenhill’.
Gravenhill is innovative as its the UK’s largest Self-Build development. Interestingly, the local council purchased the land from the Ministry of Defence. The council then sold these plots on to the public to allow them to design and build their own individual homes.
In the first episode, airing on Thursday the 4th of April, we see Thermohouse clients Terry and Olwen take on their own Self-Build project. The ambitious couple not only take on a project management role, but build their home themselves!
