Thermoroof Panels as Featured by Kevin McCloud at Grand Designs Live

Thermohouse were delighted to have our Thermoroof panels featured during design guru Kevin McCloud’s Live Panel at today’s Grand Designs Live. Our Thermoroof panels were recently featured on the Grand Designs: The Street series. Kevin McCloud has described the house featuring Thermoroof panels as “uncompromising in its design, with its blue steel roof.” Our Thermoroof panels helped Terry and Olwen to achieve the mono-pitch roof design that was a main feature of their home quickly and easily in comparison to other builds on the street that used traditional systems.

Thermoroof Panels at Graven Hill

This house is on the Graven Hill development – a completely unique self build community. The plots of the development have been sold individually, and every house on the development is built custom to the owner. This has allowed for complete creativity in terms of design, and in the words of Kevin McCloud “not just liberated, but energised by architecture”. Thermohouse were delighted to assist in the delivery of such creativity, with our unique slanted Thermoroof panels, covered with navy blue steel.

In case you missed it, catch up on Grand Designs: The Street and see how our Thermoroof panels helped Terry and Olwen to build their dream home here.

Upcoming Graven Hill Project

Thermohouse is involved in another self build at the Graven Hill Development, due to the design flexibility of our system. We can accommodate a number of building styles, making our system particularly attractive for somewhere like Graven Hill, where the house design is not limited by any regulations.
